Proud to share this fully custom 12×12’ treehouse I designed and built myself from the ground up. It stands on a spacious 21×24’ platform supported by 13-foot posts and secured with high-quality Nelson Treehouse hardware — rock solid and built to last!
The platform features redwood decking and railings with sleek black hog wire, blending safety with style. Inside, the treehouse is fully insulated and wired with electricity, cold water and a drain system, making it perfect for year-round use. The laminate floors, pine tongue & groove walls and ceilings, and plenty of natural light give the space a warm and inviting feel.
A French door opens onto a wraparound redwood deck, where three trees actually pass through the structure, connecting the house with nature in the best way possible. There’s even a second-floor loft with a skylight — perfect for stargazing, reading, or just relaxing in the treetops.
The homeowners already had a spiral staircase, which we incorporated as the main entrance — a stylish and space-saving touch.
This treehouse isn’t just for the kids (though they love it!) — it’s also a place for adults to work, host parties, and unwind in a unique space surrounded by nature.
And there’s more to come — this treehouse also opens the door to extra fun with opportunities to add rope net hammocks, a zipline, swings, and many other adventure-ready features.
